Same here. I wonder what knowledge my ancestors had about the places where they lived. Many of my ancestors were colonizers rather than immigrants, but they still had the challenge to learn how to survive on this continent, with or without the help of native peoples. Thanks for reading!

Some of the nonnatives in my former backyard were beautiful and helped the wildlife with cover. I don't garden anymore for several reasons, a main one being the deer eat almost everything! Thanks for reading and keep enjoying your garden!
